I Suck at Big Money, But Not For Long

Okay, so here’s a little secret that I don’t want anyone but the entire internet community to know: although I really enjoy playing Big Money on Worldwinner, I’m just plain terrible at it. Half the time I play the game on Easy, I end up getting stuck by the 4th or 5th stage and score a measly 40,000-50,000. If I do happen to finish the game, my score averages out to be around 100,000.

Yeah, I suck at Big Money. But not for long! My goal in skill gaming this month is to practice my heart out in Big Money, and eventually rip everyone a new one in cash games. While there are a few elite players that have been playing for years now, I truly believe that anyone can catch up to the highest rank players with perseverance and lots of practice. Heck, I’m considered to be pretty new to the whole Bejeweled scene…I’ve been playing the game for less than a year, and I wasn’t actually “good” at the game until the beginning of this year. I’m not quite up there with the top 10 players yet, but I’m able to hang with people in the highest ranked tiering of Bejeweled.

Well, I got into a tangent there. Moving on, I’ll be practicing Big Money during my spare time and I’ll be reporting my progress as I get better and better. I probably won’t be playing cash games until my average is around 200,000, so that I can start off with a bang when a complete Big Money “nobody” takes 1st place finishes.

So, what’s my gameplan? As mentioned before, practice is a must…I’ll try to get in a couple hundred warmups this month. While that sounds like a loser-ish amount of games to be playing, making $300 a day off an online game is nothing to sneer at. ;) Also, I’ll be watching this video of Imzi over and over again:

Really good stuff! If you can mimic his gameplay and overall tactics, you’ll be a surefire success in Big Money.

Well, I’m off to Worldwinner!
